Looking for the perfect space to host your next event? The West Side Community Centre is available for rentals and ready to welcome everything from birthday parties and yoga classes to corporate meetings and community gatherings.
Our bright, open space comes equipped with tables, chairs, and presentation equipment—everything you need to make your event a success. Whether you're planning something big or small, we’ve got the space and support to help bring your vision to life!
Flexible Space
We offer a large, open space to accommodate most types of events. All on one level, our centre is fully accessible with 3 washrooms, efficient temperature control via heat pump, 100 chairs and 20 folding tables. Public wifi access is also available thanks to The Town of New Glasgow Flourish Network. The AED System is courtesy of the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Public Health Agency of Canada – National AED Program.
Full Kitchen Amenities
Full service kitchen facility with oven, fridge and freezer, double sink and cleaning supplies. We do have cutlery but supply is limited so it’s generally a good idea to bring your own! Wether you need to prepare food on-site or store premade items for your event, the WSCC has you covered!
Audio/Visual Equipment
Our centre is equipped with a professional 8 channel PA system that allows users to broadcast audio both inside and outside via two separate speaker setups. It has a microphone included as well as bluetooth/line-in capabilities to stream audio from your personal devices. Also available for an additional cost is a full 1080p HD smart projector with built-in Android device for streaming service playback and an hdmi input to present from a computer. That add-on also includes a large, portable projector screen.

Rental Options and Rates:
½ day Rental - $100
4 hours of access to the facility
Full Day Rental - $140
8 hours of access to the facility
Rental Fees are not subject to tax.
Before you book:
Payment
Payment is required at least 3 business days before your rental date.
Payment can be made via e-transfer to: rentals@westsidecommunitycentre.ca
Rental Agreement
Please review the agreement entirely before your booking date.
Booking Time
Your reserved time must include all set-up and clean -up. Please plan accordingly when selecting your start and end times.
Advanced Booking
Online bookings are available up to 4 months in advance. If you are looking for a date beyond this timeframe, please check back onc the date becomes available.
